Holding a seminar about impact factor<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The department of scientific affairs at the university of Baghdad held a seminar for discussing the theme of “impact factor” of scientific international journals as part of the keenness of the presidency of the university of Baghdad to enrich the scientific movement positively to reflects the bright picture of the university and its scientific position. Dr. Ahmed Waheed Nasser, director of the department of scientific affairs asserted to the university website that the discussion would deal with three topics:
1- What is the impact factor.
2- How to attain impact factor.
3- What are the drawbacks and the risks faced by the researcher who is publishing papers in a journal with impact factor.
The seminar was held in al-Khwarizmi college of engineering in the presence of a number of managers and representatives of the editorial boards of journals and D. Ayad Kadhim Zughayyer, an instructor at the faculty of sciences at the university of Baghdad gave lectures also.
