Inauguration of an interactive laboratory at the department of architectural engineering<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Within the achievements achieved by the university of Baghdad, openness to the world, keeping abreast of scientific developments and the provision of the requirements necessary for university study, the department of architectural engineering at the faculty of engineering gave a great importance to the provision of computer laboratories including the interactive lab which was inaugurated in the academic year 2013\/2014 provided with (33) computers and smart screens to allow students to develop their skills in drawing through using sophisticated software to cope with future requirements of the labor market.  In an interview with the prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Neima, head of the department of architectural engineering, she clarified that the creative process in forming and designing is formulated carefully scientifically and educationally according with the nature and the type of inputs, the standards and specifications of the outputs and how to develop personal skills of students relating to the use of computers and software.  The professors responsible for the lab said that it would be a tool for supporting the educational process, computer courses and allowing students to learn and develop their skills in this field. The dean of the college of engineering, Dr. Ahmed Abdel – Sahib and his assistants visited the lab and stressed on providing those supplies and paying tribute to the efforts of the college to develop its scientific departments and its educational laboratories.
