{"id":55076,"date":"2025-07-01T09:49:41","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T06:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=55076"},"modified":"2025-07-01T09:49:42","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T06:49:42","slug":"center-for-educational-and-psychological-research-holds-workshop-on-psychological-and-educational-dimensions-of-arbaeen-pilgrimage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=55076","title":{"rendered":"Center for Educational and Psychological Research Holds Workshop on Psychological and Educational Dimensions of Arbaeen Pilgrimage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Center for Educational and Psychological Research, in collaboration with the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, organized a scientific workshop titled &#8220;The Psychological and Educational Dimensions of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop opened with the presence of Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, along with faculty members from various colleges, as well as a distinguished group of researchers and experts in educational and psychological affairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lectures were presented by:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Prof. Dr. Moayad Abdul-Sada, who discussed the deep psychological dimensions related to pilgrims\u2019 behavior and its role in strengthening societal resilience.<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Sama Faleh Ghali, who examined the educational aspects of the pilgrimage as a means to promote religious and human values.<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Lecturer Nasr Thabit Al-Baldawi, who delivered an analytical reading on the educational impact of Arbaeen rituals on youth and younger generations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop addressed several scientific themes that shed light on the psychological, behavioral, and educational facets of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, emphasizing its role as a unique social and spiritual phenomenon with deep effects on individuals and communities. The session also featured rich academic discussions, reflecting a fruitful intersection between human and societal dimensions in the context of this major religious occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In conclusion, participants emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between research centers to explore religious and social phenomena from a rigorous academic perspective\u2014thereby contributing to scholarly advancement and societal service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop also directly supports Sustainable Development Goal
