The paper appeared in IEEE Access, a first-quartile (Q1) journal indexed in the Scopus database, with a 2024 Impact Factor of 3.9 and a CiteScore of 9.8.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research proposes the development of a novel Discontinuous Pulse Width Modulation (DPWM) algorithm that is based on the operational lifespan of electronic components.
