The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad has launched several awareness and environmental campaigns aimed at educating students and university staff about the harmful effects of electronic cigarettes and the negative influence of social media on health and academic performance.<\/p>\n
These campaigns included posters and informational brochures highlighting the health risks associated with e-cigarettes, as well as raising awareness about the adverse effects of excessive social media use on students\u2019 academic achievements and social relationships. The initiative seeks to promote preventive awareness and encourage positive behaviors within the university environment.<\/p>\n
In addition, a team from the University of Baghdad contributed to an environmental campaign, which involved cleaning gardens and planting green spaces within the college\u2014an effort aimed at improving the university\u2019s environment and reinforcing a sense of social responsibility. These initiatives align with the college\u2019s vision of creating a conscious, healthy, and sustainable learning environment.<\/p>\n
