It focused on interpreting infrared spectra and analyzing the absorptions that occur when infrared rays interact with organic compound molecules. Additionally, the course included a detailed explanation of the different functional groups in organic compounds and how to distinguish these groups using FTIR technology. It emphasized the importance of this technique in analytical chemistry, thanks to its exceptional ability to deliver precise information about the chemical composition of compounds by analyzing vibrations in the chemical bonds of the compounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This course aligns with one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4, which advocates for
