{"id":52629,"date":"2025-02-25T13:23:11","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T10:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=52629"},"modified":"2025-02-25T13:23:11","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T10:23:11","slug":"college-of-science-discusses-spectroscopic-diagnosis-of-copper-zinc-nickel-plasma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=52629","title":{"rendered":"College of Science Discusses Spectroscopic Diagnosis of Copper-Zinc-Nickel Plasma"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Baghdad, discussed the master&#8217;s thesis tagged &#8220;Spectroscopic diagnosis of copper, zinc and nickel plasma produced by jet plasma system&#8221; by student Tabarak Fadel Oraibi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research aimed to focus on generating DC plasma jets using different metals at different flow rates for argon gas, investigating plasma parameters using diagnostic techniques, especially photoemission spectroscopy, and obtaining the best optimal conditions for the elements Cu, Zn, and Ni to study plasma properties and apply them to solar cells.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The thesis arrived after mainly addressing the spectroscopy of plasma produced by zinc, copper, and nickel, using plasma jetting systems, along with investigating their spectral and morphological properties and their impact on plasma parameters that increase the spectral emission lines of plasma produced by copper, zinc and nickel metals with increasing argon gas flow, as plasma emission spectrum also revealed the presence of positive ionic types, including nitrogen radicals (N2), hydroxide (OH) and nitric oxide (NO).
