The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Philosophy at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled “How to write a doctoral thesis”, in which \u00a0Dr. Afrah Ramadan Shamma, lectured, in the presence of a number of students.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to provide practical guidance in writing the thesis, starting from designing the research plan, selecting information collection tools, and formulating research hypotheses, with a focus on the importance of critical reading in identifying the research problem.<\/p>\n
The workshop dealt with several main axes, including choosing the appropriate title, identifying the research problem, the importance of research and its objectives, as well as formulating scientific hypotheses and terminology.<\/p>\n
At the end of the workshop, the workshop came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is the use of modern technologies in searching for sources, and the need to develop an integrated research plan in line with the appropriate title and methodology to ensure the quality of scientific research.<\/p>\n
