The Educational Guidance and Guidance Unit at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a panel discussion entitled “The Role of the Academic Counselor in Student Guidance”, in which Prof. Dr. Adel Abdul Razzaq and Dr. Huda Ali lectured, in the presence of professors, students, and college employees.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to shed light on specialized insights on the importance of academic advising in helping students overcome academic challenges and develop their scientific and professional skills.<\/p>\n
She addressed the role of the academic advisor in guiding students academically and psychologically, and the importance of providing a supportive environment that helps them achieve their educational goals, in addition to discussing the challenges faced by students and proposing solutions to enhance their communication with academic advisors.<\/p>\n
At the end of the seminar, an open discussion took place between the attendees and the lecturers, where views were exchanged and inquiries were raised about ways to develop the academic advising system within the college, in a way that contributes to improving students’ academic performance and enhancing their integration into university life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
