{"id":51839,"date":"2025-02-09T09:43:29","date_gmt":"2025-02-09T06:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=51839"},"modified":"2025-02-09T09:44:32","modified_gmt":"2025-02-09T06:44:32","slug":"department-of-financial-and-administrative-affairs-at-presidency-of-university-of-baghdad-organizes-workshop-on-mechanism-of-applying-the-program-budget-and-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=51839","title":{"rendered":"Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs at Presidency of University of Baghdad Organizes Workshop on Mechanism of Applying the Program Budget and Performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, organized a workshop tagged (Program and Performance Budget), presented by the Director of the Department, Dr. Najla Sada Hassoun, and hosted by the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies, in the presence of the assistants of the deans in the university&#8217;s formations and the directors of all financial divisions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop aimed to study the features of the program and performance budget in Iraq and the mechanism of its application in the university after moving from item budgeting to a goal-based budget, improving the efficiency of public spending, and enhancing transparency and accountability, thus motivating the institution to improve its performance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Director of the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs stressed the importance of evaluating the completion of the university&#8217;s work to prepare its specific budget according to schedules planned by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, including the axes of preliminary and postgraduate studies, as well as the axis of scientific research, and the tables specified the types of activities and their required materials within the specifications and qualities, with determining the quantity, the total amounts allocated and the duration of their completion for the year 2025, with the importance of securing the salaries of all employees after receiving the tables from the formations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Director of the Control and Audit Department, Dr. Haifa Youssef Suleiman, highlighted the importance of including data on the preparation of teachers and employees, as well as the preparation of completed and planned research, lecture fees, supervision and evaluation of theses and theses, in addition to courses, workshops, conferences, scientific journals and other details to be able to determine their budget for each year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop comes within the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to prepare the draft program and performance budget document for the year 2025 within special forms and according to a guideline prepared by the Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51845&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51843&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51844&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51840&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51846&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":117,"featured_media":51842,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-51839","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-breaking-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
