The Laser Institute for Studies, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the University of Baghdad, organized an educational workshop on (how intellectual extremism is formed, and psychological and social factors), the workshop was attended by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Faisal Abdul Amir, the respected Assistant Dean, Dr. Jawad Abdul Kazem Hassan, and the institute’s teachers and employees.<\/p>\n
The workshop aims to identify the concept of intellectual extremism and the psychological and social causes leading to intellectual extremism.<\/p>\n
The workshop included clarifying the concept of intellectual extremism, its causes, how to address them, its dangers to societal peace, its relationship to terrorism, and the most important means to combat extremism and limit its spread by increasing community awareness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
