The session was chaired by the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and attended by the deans of the university&#8217;s colleges and institutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The council&#8217;s decisions included directing college deanships to form task forces within their departments to oversee the inclusion of the university\u2019s journals in the global Scopus index. Emphasis was placed on the importance of integrating these journals into Scopus-specific archiving platforms to achieve this goal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the session, the President of the University assigned the Scientific Assistant, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, to restructure the committee responsible for facilitating the inclusion of journals in global academic databases. This effort aims to organize and monitor progress in integrating the university\u2019s journals into international indices, thereby elevating the quality and reach of its scientific publications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The session also addressed the importance of completing data related to computing allowances within the university&#8217;s departments.
