The lecture included defining algae, its presence in all environments in different types and forms, eukaryote and prokaryote, its importance in some fish farms since it absorbs nitrogen in addition to being used in many places of the world as food for animals, birds and fish. The researcher hinted that some types of algae contain anti-fungal and anti-bacteria, from which some important drugs and medicines were extracted. Also there are some types of algae that are used in sewage treatment and absorption of heavy metals, which are then being processed with certain types of acids to get rid of these dangerous toxins and some of them renew oxygen in rivers, lakes, dams and seas. At last the researcher recommended the following:<br \/> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Courier New;\">1 . Paying attention to food with high protein content and that of vegetarian (non-animal) origin such as algae.<br \/> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Courier New;\">2 . Citizen awareness of the importance of aquatic plants and algae and their role in preserving the environment as well as its economic, alimentary and medical importance.<br \/> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: Courier New;\">3 .
