The lecture was attended by several students, faculty members, and individuals involved in geological affairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The lecture aimed to explore industrial and engineering applications that rely on gypsum volume, such as construction materials and ceramic industries. It aimed to establish a foundation for these applications and investigate the possibility of altering their volumes to achieve diverse results, providing services in various life and scientific domains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Hassan delivered a lecture included an overview of the significance of gypsum, a solid material composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate. He explained that gypsum is abundantly available on Earth and is the most widespread sulfurous mineral in nature in either its mineral or sedimentary rock form. It interlaces with anhydrite, coexists with dolomite, clay, and limestone, and can be found on the Earth&#8217;s surface or at depths reaching up to 350 meters.
