The director of the pioneering national center for research on cancer participated as co-author in the ” world cancer report ” issued every five years by the international agency for research on cancer related to the world health organization:<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>The name of the professor Dr. Nada Abdul Sahib al-Alwan appeared as a researcher and member of the university of Baghdad among (227) western scientists belonging to foreign universities and research institutions in the (Book of the international agency for research on cancer) and the university of Baghdad was the only Arab university included in this book.  The fourth chapter of the book related to (early detection of cancer worldwide) cited a research published by the centre in 2012 in the “health journal of the mediterranean east” issued by the world health organization that is documenting the knowledge and the attitudes of a sample of educated Iraqi women affiliated to different Iraqi universities about breast cancer and the methods for early detection.<\/span>
