The head of the Individual Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abeer Dakhil al-Salami, has organized an awareness symposium for the students of the undergraduate and postgraduate studies entitled (Important Guidelines and Tips for the Period of Preparing for Exams) aimed to develop self-confidence and be patient, vigor and activity when reading, setting a specific goal to serve as an incentive and motivation to read in focus, overcoming the problem of distraction and wandering of mind when reviewing lessons, reducing the size of the study material and the accompanying tension by adopting the method of summarizing the curriculum materials.<\/p>\n
Dr. Abeer al-Salami indicated the need for students to prepare for exams psychologically and with all vitality, activity and high morale in order to be able to achieve the highest grades, namely: early sleep and not to staying up late, preparing a study schedule to organize the school day, setting the goal of study and striving to achieve and reach it, spending quality time with friends in college, arranging and preparing study tools, attending lectures regularly, preparing summaries for all subjects, making a review schedule during the exam period so that you can review all materials with ease and at the required time.<\/p>\n
She also explained how to prepare for exams mentally by following the following steps: getting a quick look on our textbooks quickly in order to stimulate the mind, staying away from all distractions that distract attention, reviewing previous exam questions, reducing fast food meals that negatively affect brain health, eating fruits, vegetables and nuts of all kinds because they increase the rate of concentration, eating a healthy fat-free breakfast rich in fiber, eating plenty of natural fruit drinks and healthy drinks such as ginger, cinnamon, mint, and others, instead of soft drinks. Then she discussed some psychological and mental preparations, there are physical preparations represented by the following: Avoid laziness and lethargy through several ways, most notably exercising on a daily basis such as walking to stimulate blood circulation in the body, reduce the period of sitting in front of the computer or TV in order to prepare for exams in order to reduce eye strain, take a break and sleep well at least 8 hours a day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
