The seminar aimed to inform the participants about an important scientific discovery of protein molecules Peroxiredoxins, their types, structure and functions, that are a ubiquitous family of antioxidant enzymes that also control cytokine-induced peroxide levels and thereby mediate signal transduction in mammalian cells, in addition to clarifying the role of proteins in the types of cancer
