The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has recently hosted the launching ceremony concerned with the accreditation standards for the nursing colleges\u2019 programs, held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Abd Yasser Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the director of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi, hosted by the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi.<\/p>\n

This ceremony came to discuss the essential requirements for the national accreditation standards for the nursing colleges\u2019 programs in Iraq so as to improve their academic performance in alignment with the internationally approved standards as well as the experience of the applied course of action in all nursing faculties in Iraq. These standards come in order to improve the academic performance as well as to increase the quality of education there and the academic level attained by the Iraqi graduates.<\/p>\n
