The Department of Home Economics at the College of Education for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit held a workshop entitled “The most important wrong eating habits followed by the members of society”, delivered by the lecturers Ishraq Jihad Khudair and Hala Abdul Moneim Yassin and attended by a group of lecturers, employees and students.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to highlight the most important wrong habits and behaviors followed by different groups of people, especially youth and school students, and to educate and guide community members to follow healthy diets that enhance their mental abilities, maintain the health of the body and having the necessary immunity against various diseases. The workshop reached at a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to intensify health efforts for the purpose of guiding and educating members of society in general and school students in particular on the consumption of functional foods that promote the health of the body and the preparation of awareness posters and publications that guide the most important methods and healthy diets to be followed and adopt them as an approach in the life of the individual.
