A workshop was held at the college of engineering about the (Fears of Infectious Diseases and Introducing Congo-Crimean Hemorrhagic Fever in Iraq and the Role of Social Media in Conveying Medical Information to Others) directed towards the professors, employees and students of the university, including two lectures delivered by the Lecturer Hiba Moayad Mohamed, Assist. Lecturer Maha Tariq Mohammed and Assist. Lecturer Amina Rami Abdullah.<\/p>\n
The workshop reached at several recommendations, including reducing exposure to negative news that leads to an increase in the sense of panic, choosing to be biased towards optimism, paying attention to the value of the current moment, and the necessity of using insecticides to eliminate ticks, especially in high-risk areas such as livestock pens, encouraging the use of appropriate gloves to deal with animals, isolating animals that show any signs of infection, stopping the spread of fake information, verifying the source of data and being careful of the messages that are often widely disseminated and that make us feel afraid, angry, anxious and so on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
