University of Baghdad Embraces University of Maysan <\/p>\n

  Under the strategic plans of our university which seeks to provide its expertise and capabilities, to put it in the service of the country under the slogan that the university arose “the university is in the service of society” the University of Baghdad held a developmental workshop for media men of the University of Maysan. In one of the most important demonstrations of scientific development of websites,the unversity has sent a team of experts website to the University of Maysan for a joint work in upgrading the website of the young University of Maysan which emphasizes its eagerness to progress and develop with its media staff, specifically in the field of electronic sites that form the basis of information in the world, especially after the sites spread widely all over the world.<\/p>\n

  Prof. Dr. Alaa’ Abdulhussain President of the University of Baghdad was keen that the university offers all its capabilities and expertise as a step for the advancement of digital media in all Iraqi academic institutions, as well as government institutions .<\/p>\n

  The website team accompanied the workshop at the University of Maysan and continued all curricula and paragraphs made \u200b\u200bduring the course, where Prof. Dr. Sabih Hamoud Al-Tamimi, head of the University of Maysan received the delegation of Baghdad University for holding the workshop, which consists of Prof. Dr. Abdulbasset Salman, editor of the website and assistant teacher engineer Bassim Hamid Director of website and programmer Raed Hussein, and the reception was intimate and pleasant , particularly the president of the University of Maysan has welcomed the experts of Baghdad University and expressed his overwhelming happiness of the effort of Baghdad University and its cooperation with the University of Maysan in the field of Media Development, to gain experiences and competence in the development of sites formations of the university. Dr. Sabih al-Tamimi expressed that the University of Maysan is going on according to great strategies to expand the university after it had suffered a lot to get support to expand and it is now experiencing a kind of a large and formidable development , especially after it got the direct support of the Minister of Higher Education Professor Ali Adeeb, to expand to 12 colleges after the entire governorate was limited to only one institute for teachers, for almost half a century.It is now experiencing an academic progressive revolution and with the efforts of the people of the governorate , scientists and experts, especially the governorate embodies the finest scholars and thinkers, writers and creators. <\/p>\n

  Dr Abdulbasset Salman delivered extensive lectures in the field of text editing of the website and the field of photography and graphic , as well as in the field of technological development communication, reviewing a number of scientific sources and citations, presentations and means of education and advanced and modern training in the workshop, as well as instructor Bassim Hamid delivered intensive and serious lectures in organizing entities of electronic sites and designing , programming and administration of sites, and also programmer Raed Hussein has arranged and organized the workshop and coordinating with the University of Maysan. A workshop witnessed a large coming but special attention from the University of Maysan, particularly by Dr. Hamid Fadhil scientific assistant of university president who initiated the support and the assignment of the workshop and receiving the delegation of the University of Baghdad, ordering to provide all the possibilities that would achieve the progress of websites. Dr. Adel Abdullah ,Dean of the college of Engineering, University of Maysan, attended and participated the workshop and who mocked the possibilities of the college of Engineering and laboratories and its scientific halls , for the success of the workshop, as well as Dr. Jafar Al-Kaabi, Dean of the college of Pharmacyhe with many of the mediamen and employees of the University of Maysan attended the workshop. <\/p>\n

  The audio- visual media in the governorate of Maysan has focused and covered the workshop in the media, after the workshop received a large attention and interest of the employees of the University of Maysan to develop expertise and competencies, in the acquisition of skills and innovations in the field of web sites, and all the participants were excited in the course and expressed overwhelming happiness in holding this workshop, which formed an important opportunity to develop the potential of the university media The workshop witnessed serious and constructive discussions and many interventions that stressed the excitemnet and the desire of the participants in the acquisition of knowledge, and develop their abilities and skills in the field of graphic , administrating and designing the sites and text editing for the website, also many of the agencies and scientific institutions in Maysan initiated to contribute to this workshop or participate to achieve the acquisition of knowledge in the development of staffs . Dr. Abdulbaset Salman expressed during his lectures that the University of Maysan is witnessing a great scientific revolution after it was able to expand the colleges, to lift the sons of Maysan and provide them opportunities to complete their undergraduate degree in Maysan, and that the coming months will see clear progress of the University of Maysan, particularly since the university is taking precedence according to strategies.<\/p>\n

  Professor Bassim Hamid explained that the new image of the university is more optimistic and advanced, and the horizon heralds a massive progress of the University of Maysan, stressing that the university has a set of scientific potentials, and that the workshop will be the stage for the start of the university towards the summit gradually to gain its maturity and the ancient history of Maysan, which is a matter of pride for all Iraqis, being the first human history of mankind extended to more than 6,000 years, known as the Sumerian civilizations or civilizations of Mesopotamia, the website team accompanied the workshop and documented it with a set of photographs . <\/p>\n
