A number of students from the department of physics at the college of science have worked on the development of three modern experiments, specializing in industrial applications and the foundations of thermal duality and transmission in conductive materials of the general equation of gases in motion and their forms with steam engines, in a new form that has not been addressed in the previous experiments of the department.<\/p>\n

The experiments carried out at the laboratories of the department of physics were made by the use of the abandoned materials and equipment at the college to calculate thermal transmission within the conductive objects when exposed to high temperatures, depending on the thermal transition time regardless of the distance or geometric section of the object that is in a state of thermal imbalance, for enabling students to learn how to use such industrial applications in cooling and heating systems. It is noteworthy that these experiments were supervised by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Latif, as well as the Assist. Prof. Dr.\u00a0 Tariq al-Umran, with the aim to experiment the thermocouple and how to convert thermal energy into electric energy, that can be sensitive and measured in practice and how to conduct calibration of thermocouple by calculating spike coefficient that is regarded as the standard basic reference in measuring temperatures so that the student can diagnose the type of thermocouple used and where it is thermally suitable, in addition to experiment the glass heater that explains in practice how to apply the ideal gas law in terms of increasing the volume of boiling alcohol with hand temperature by neglecting atmospheric pressure, which enabled students to apply this practically especially in steam engines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
