The aim of the lecture was to highlight the emergence and development of media monitoring, the concept of monitoring, its functions, scientific practices and its scientific features in particular. The lecturer explained the importance of media in documenting and analyzing the contents of public opinion in any nation while stressing the importance of accuracy, objectivity and credibility when presenting real events without any distortion and how to avoid repeated words in reports and providing evidence when covering and monitoring various events by mass
