The college of physical education and sports sciences for women at the University of Baghdad has organized a seminar entitled “The impact of the physical diet program on the treatment of some physiological indicators to reduce the incidence of PCOS in women) delivered by the master’s student Ayaa Nasser Mohsen. The researcher described the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens, male sex hormones that are usually present in women in small amounts.<\/p>\n
The name polycystic ovary syndrome describes the numerous small cysts (fluid-filled sacs) that form in the ovaries, as it is one of the most common female endocrine disorders in the age periods (18-44) and affects approximately 10% of women of reproductive age (12 to 45), as one of the main causes of fertility weakness in females, and their symptoms and severity vary greatly among affected women. The participants also discussed the causes due either genetically or to the presence of a defect in some hormones secreted by the pituitary gland such as the high proportion of androgen, the hormone masculinity, referring to its symptoms known as irregular or abundant menstruation, increased hair growth in the body parts, acne, black hair in the face, the pelvic area for mothers, infertility, as well as other diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, mood disorders, uterine cancer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
