The college of pharmacy at the University of Baghdad has organized an electronic workshop entitled “Introduction to Applied Statistics” that lasted for three days and was delivered by the lecturer Dr. Ali Aziz Ali, via Zoom platform with the participation of several professors and postgraduate students. It is noteworthy that the lecturer is a professor at the Clinical Pharmacy Branch and he is specialized in biostatistics from the University of Iowa, USA. In this workshop, he aimed to improve the statistical susceptibility of the participants and to know how to choose the appropriate statistical analysis based on the quality of data available and the characteristics of some statistical analyses.<\/p>\n
The workshop included lectures and exercises during the first two days and on the third day two published studies and statistical analyses were also reviewed. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Ali Aziz gave an electronic test for the participants to assess the benefits and knowledge they received from these lectures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
