A number of professors and associates of food science division and the medicinal plants unit at the college of agriculture, University of Baghdad participated in the International Scientific Forum for Applied Sciences held in Istanbul with a patent entitled (Development of a new local agricultural medium used in preparing the mother farm for the development of edible fungal fungi in Iraq). This participation came as a complement to a previous research presented in the 1st International Conference of Applied Sciences in Malaysia. The participants, Dr. Ruqaiba Ali Chichan, Dr. Susan Kamran, Dr. Jassim Mohammed Udah, Zina Mohammed Abdul Qadir and Ikhlas Mohammed Farhan received two golden medals for their active participation in this conference.<\/div>\n
