Actually the multiple genetic variants and many environmental factors play important roles of (DM).The decreased of insulin produced by pancreas caused by (DM). In present our study we investigated the association of FOXP3 (SNP rs122467173 [C\/T]) and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is worth mentioning, this is unique and first study among the word in this kinds of researches. 120 cases compared with 120 healthy control. Our result approved that an association between FOXP3 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
