During his speech at the forum, His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research noted that the ministry is working to give the heads of scientific departments a greater role in the educational process through creating the appropriate environment to strengthen their academic capacities and developing creative aspects for those concerned. Prof. Dr. Al-Issa stressed the support of universities and research centers to move towards the most useful applied research in meeting the needs of community in addition to the importance of keeping universities away from interventions and establishing peaceful coexistence and the spirit of citizenship in universities.
