Abstract <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Two microalgae (Nitzchiapalea, Chlorella vulgaris) were isolated and cultured, these algae are present in most of the Iraqi aquatic environments. Then  produce bio mass and test their ability to product  bio-fuels (bio-diesel) by increasing their production of fat(lipid). This was done through the shedding of chemical (nutritional)factor with different concentrations, and then extract the fat from after-treatment and determine the quality and quantity of fat produced through a high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC). The Increasing of  fat value in the alga Chlorella vulgaris from 6.5% to 40% of the dry weight, and in Nitzchia palethe fat value increasedfrom  40% to 60% of the dry weight so when reducing  the nitrate concentration from  8 g \/ liter to zero g \/ liter .Two types of fatty acids were detected, saturated  fatty acid Stearic acid and unsaturated fatty acid Oleic acid , by  using separation technology HPLC. Sterec acid ratioincreased  from 0.7% to 26% and Oleic acid increased  from 0.05% to 6% in the alga Chlorella vulgaris and recorded an increase in the concentration of acid ratio Stearic acid from 1.5% to 34.5% and Oleic acid from 2% to 15% in the algae Nitzchia palea when reducing  the concentration of nitrates (nutritional factor) from  8 g \/ liter to zero g \/ l. The results showed that Nitrogen Starvation can lead to an increase in the production of fat in both algae and an increasing in the production of Oleic acid and Stearicacid these two fatty acids are important for the production of bio-diesel. <\/span><\/div>\n
