Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser, the assistant rector for administrative affairs has visited recently the department of media and public relations at the presidency of the University of Baghdad to inspect the technical needs of the department, stressing the role of media in spreading knowledge and marketing scientific university outputs as well as praising the role of public relations in coordination joint academic initiatives with the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Wahid made a tour with the director of department Assist. Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Ghariri to learn about the nature of the work carried out by employees at different administrative units and divisions, the mechanism of government communication adopted with different media institutions to make the university’s voice heard by the people through reflecting its scientific achievements. The assistant rector for administrative affairs was accompanied by the director of the department of reconstruction and projects at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Hatim Khalifa, within s series of inspection visits conducted to follow-up work and assessing the quality of the actual performance of employees in educational institutions.<\/p>\n
