The college of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a virtual workshop entitled (The importance of playing in investing the children’s energy for learning sports skills) via Google Meet service, attender by a number of faculty members and students. \u00a0The lecturers at first defined the concept of play, its types and importance for children in sports and education in general, as well as the most common contemporary theories that explained the role and importance of playing for babies. Also they addressed some popular games that can be used in the field of learning sports skills, with examples of a group of educational games adopted by sports teachers in Iraq.<\/p>\n
