{"id":26177,"date":"2021-03-30T12:55:37","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T09:55:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=26177"},"modified":"2021-03-30T12:56:58","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T09:56:58","slug":"scientific-lecture-on-the-importance-of-manuscripts-at-the-center-for-heritage-revival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=26177","title":{"rendered":"Scientific lecture on the importance of manuscripts at the center for heritage revival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The department of manuscripts at the center for the revival of Arab scientific heritage at the University of Baghdad organized recently a lecture entitled &#8220;The importance and preservation of manuscripts: Juma Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai as a model&#8221; delivered by the head of the manuscripts unit at the college of Islamic sciences and head of the Scientific Hadeeth Association, Prof. Dr. Younis Kaddouri Aweid. At first the lecturer spoke about the importance of manuscripts and the preservation methods commonly adopted by experts since manuscripts represent the civilized value of any nation and the criteria by which human culture can be measured according to their historical depth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Younis Kaddouri then stated that there are clear shortcomings in dealing with manuscripts in most of their places of existence in the country when we compared with the procedures and strategies used in some distinguished academic and cultural centers at the international level and in the Arab world in particular such as Juma Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai that was officially established in 1991 to be a scientific charity authority of public benefit concerned with providing office services to researchers and university students in fields of cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;26181&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The department of manuscripts at the center for the revival of Arab scientific heritage at the University of Baghdad &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":26173,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-26177","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-breaking-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
