The Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection held an electronic training course entitled “Occupational Safety” in the presence of a number of attendents and participants from various scientific authorities of the formations of the University of Baghdad and from various state departments.\u00a0 Dr. Yahya Kamal Khalil, director of the center welcomed the audience in his speech and addressed some matters related to how to take precautionary measures by laboratory workers in workplace.<\/p>\n

Then Dr. Mohammed Abdul Razzaq al-Soufi gave a lecture on “Safety and Health in Laboratories” through which he talked about the most important guidelines and advice sought by workers in laboratories and how to maintain their health and safety, also the sound methods used when dealing with accidents. Then the lecturer Raafat Ahmed Moussa talked about the “Physical safety in office” in which he discussed the most important tips for preserving the health of employees whose work requires sitting long hours in front of computer screens and provided illustrations of some exercises that anyone can do to maintain the flow of the circulatory system, the safety of joints and discs. At the conclusion of the training course, the participants praised the high organization and valuable information provided and hoped to hold such fruitful events in the future.<\/p>\n
