The department of astronomy and space at the college of science issued its monthly electronic bulletin “Nebula” specialized in the dissemination and development of the scientific culture among our Iraqi community. This bulletin publishes articles related to astronomy and targeted towards readers and amateurs in this field to develop their knowledge and provide them with the latest astronomical discoveries.<\/p>\n

The first issue included an editorial, a number of translated articles, astronomical photographs and events of January regarding the great conjunction, in addition to an interview with Prof. Dr. Salman Zidan, a lecturer at the department, an article on the physical measurement and an amateur astronomy photographer contest.<\/p>\n
