Lecturer: Ammar Adel Jassim\/College of Medicine, University of Baghdad<br \/>\nProf. Dr. Abbas Abdullah Mohammed\/Department of Applied Sciences,\u00a0University of Technology<br \/>\nProf. Dr. Ali Abdul Hafiz Ibrahim\/College\u00a0of Business Economics,\u00a0Al-Nahrain University<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In\u00a0 the\u00a0 early\u00a0 diagnosis\u00a0 of\u00a0 thyroid\u00a0 cancer\u00a0 and\u00a0 prostate\u00a0 cancer,\u00a0 the chance\u00a0 of\u00a0 successful\u00a0 treatment\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 disease\u00a0 is\u00a0 greater,\u00a0 so\u00a0 the\u00a0 cancer mortality\u00a0 rate\u00a0 can\u00a0 be\u00a0 reduced\u00a0 if\u00a0 the\u00a0 disease\u00a0 is\u00a0 detected\u00a0 and\u00a0 treated\u00a0 in\u00a0 its early stages.\u00a0 In this work, the DNA was extracted from the blood sample for patients with thyroid cancer and patients with prostate cancer as well as healthy individuals, then used the electrophoresis to ensure the success of DNA extraction. The\u00a0 extracted\u00a0 genetic\u00a0 material\u00a0 (DNA)\u00a0 was\u00a0 mixed with\u00a0 specific\u00a0 primers\u00a0 to\u00a0 amplify\u00a0 specific\u00a0 regions\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 gene by polymerase chain reaction PCR. The genetic analyzer sequencer was used to\u00a0 determine\u00a0 the\u00a0 nucleotide\u00a0 sequences\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 amplified\u00a0 regions,\u00a0 which revealed a point mutation for all patients with thyroid cancer and patients with\u00a0 prostate\u00a0 cancer\u00a0 and\u00a0 its\u00a0 absence in healthy\u00a0 individuals, and can be used\u00a0 in\u00a0 early\u00a0 diagnosis\u00a0 of\u00a0 patients\u00a0 with\u00a0 thyroid\u00a0 cancer and\u00a0 patients\u00a0 with prostate cancer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inventors: Assist.
