Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul-Hamid Naji Al-Taie\/Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">Abstract<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">All-ceramic dental prostheses have been advocated for superior esthetics. Different materials and systems have been fabricated to improve the mechanical properties, but it is unclear whether they affect the opacity of all-ceramic systems. Besides, high incidence of veneer chip-off has been reported in clinical studies. Therefore, potassium bromide (KBr)-sodalite zeolite was synthesized from aqueous sodium aluminosilicate gel and infiltrated into porous alumina and zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">frameworks under hydrothermal condition through economical ways has recently been proposed.<br \/>\nFabrication of zeolite composites using a hydrothermal process permits inherent bonding of the zeolite to the substructure. The in-situ hydrothermal coating produces a composite with a thin, pure, and densely packed layer of zeolite crystals which are tightly bonded to the framework. Furthermore, sodalite-based material becomes attractive as functional materials because of a small uniform pore size (2.8 \u00c5), chemical inertness, high thermal resistance, high mechanical strength and acceptable optical properties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inventor:\u00a0Assist.
