This enzyme\u00a0 was used in some of application fields which requires to be\u00a0 active in the alkaline conditions. This isolate was identified\u00a0 a <em>Bacillus cereus<\/em>\u00a0 MH12 based on morphological, cultural characteristics, Vitek2 system and\u00a0 genetic analysis.\u00a0To increase alkaline protease productivity \u00a0from this locally isolate, the optimum\u00a0 condition for enzyme production\u00a0 has been studied by submerged state fermentation, then the enzyme was partially purified by precipitation with 30-70 % of saturation of ammonium sulfate followed by dialysis and ion-exchange chromatography, finally the enzyme extract was subjected to gel filtration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The characteristics of the purified enzyme was studied in order to identify it\u2019s suitability when it use in\u00a0 some industrial applications. These characteristics were included optimum pH and temperature for activity and stability, enzyme specificity toward some of substrates\u00a0 and effect of some ionic\u00a0 metals\u00a0 on enzyme activity.\u00a0The efficiency of Alkaline protease produced from local isolate\u00a0 <em>Bacillus cereus<\/em> \u00a0MH12 \u00a0were studied \u00a0in removing of proteins spots\u00a0 from cotton cloth\u00a0 and \u00a0compatibility of enzyme used with some of\u00a0 commercial detergent powder in local markets . The enzyme\u00a0 also used with high efficiency\u00a0 as alternative to chemicals such as sodium sulfide 2% and calcium\u00a0 oxide 10%\u00a0 to remove hair from cow skin when\u00a0 treat skin\u00a0 with\u00a0\u00a0 100 % enzyme\u00a0\u00a0 ( 612.2 U\/ ml ) for 24 h at 50 <sup>0<\/sup> C.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inventor: Prof. Dr.\u00a0Assis Prof .
