{"id":19394,"date":"2019-02-20T12:02:06","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T09:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=19394"},"modified":"2019-02-20T12:02:06","modified_gmt":"2019-02-20T09:02:06","slug":"center-for-cancer-research-participates-in-promotion-and-provision-of-medicines-for-cancer-treatment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=19394","title":{"rendered":"Center for Cancer Research participates in promotion and provision of medicines for cancer treatment  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Director of center for cancer research at University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Nada Abdul Sahib al-Alwan participated in the meetings of Cancer Council chaired by His Excellency the minister of health Dr. Alaa al-Din al-Alwan and membership of professors and consultants specialized in cancer diagnosis and treatment from relevant ministries with the aim at promotion and provision of medicines and other supplies necessary for cancer treatment according to the basic criteria for importation of medicines as well as taking into consideration the price of drugs, number of patients treated in Iraq and the percentage of its curative effect. The participants stressed on early detection of cancer, control of smoking and other environmental pollutants, including radiation, also reshaping of the permanent committees of Cancer Council since it includes active experts responsible for updating the national strategy for cancer control in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19395 size-full\"
