University of Baghdad seeks to decoding traffic jams <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n <\/p>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n <\/p>\nAssistant Rector for administrative affairs of University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Riadh Khalil khammas held an expanded meeting with the General Directorate of traffic of Rusafa, Baghdad the General Najim Abd Jaber, the second presidential brigade’ commander as well as a number of interior officers concerned to discuss the causes of congestion in Karada especially the roads leading to University of Baghdad and <\/span>to find appropriate solutions so that to reduce the density of cars and traffic jams in rush hours. General Najim Abd Jaber stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between the competent security organs at the ministries if defense and interior as well as the presidential brigade. It is worth mentioned that several proposals were put forward during this meeting by University of Baghdad and Nahrain University which were welcomed and gained the approval of gentlemen assembled in line with the directions of the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak al-Issa in this field.<\/div>\n <\/span><\/span>

Flag of University of Baghdad adorns the building of University of Mosul<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n <\/p>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n <\/p>\nDean of the faculty of media at University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Hashim Hassan Al-Tamimi with a group of college students visited University of Mosul after liberating it from ISIS terrorist groups. The dean stated that “within twenty four hours, we were able to reach the city of Mosul where we visited the liberated areas there and conveyed thousands of messages of love and harmony of college students as well as granting symbolic gifts to our security forces and children of Nineveh. The delegation of University Baghdad was headed by Rector Assistant for scientific affairs Assistant Prof. Dr. Osama Fadhil Abdul Latif while Sheik Ahmed al-Safi honored a number of the university graduates by granting certificates of appreciation and gifts in kind. <\/span><\/div>\n <\/p>\nDean of Al-Khwarizmi College of engineering Prof. Dr. Alla Kareem Mohammed and his associate for administrative affairs Dr. Sami Dawoud Salman received a delegation of engineers and technicians from the general company for hydraulic industries which is one of the formations at the ministry of industry and minerals to cooperate in establishing a laboratory specialized in controlled hydraulic and electronic systems including control systems and synchronization (SCADE). The two sides stressed the importance of mutual visits to develop scientific research and exchange of scientific expertise.
