The importance of this workshop comes from the necessity to study the constituents and mechanisms of publishing papers in academic journals such as researchers, editorial boards of university journals, scientific promotions, academic committees and knowing these executive procedures for obtaining &ldquo;impact factor&rdquo; in sober journals through the publication of and discreet researches regionally and globally. At the beginning, the workshop gave a definition of this factor along with its conditions where assistant Prof. Dr. Mufid al-Zaidi gave a lecture in which he stated that Iraq gains the ranked (12) at the level of the Arab homeland in scientific researches and that it is essential that the academic institutions should strive to promote its scientific research through issuing academic and scientific journals. The workshop witnessed many on various details of the workshop with mentioning the Iraqi and Arabic journals that gained impact factor and at the conclusion, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants.<\/p>\n<p> <\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Center for strategic and international studies organized a workshop entitled &#8220;executive procedures for obtaining Impact Factor&#8221;.
