Issue of the “Media Researcher” Magazine A new<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

    The growing interest in scientific researches and continuous follow up of the scientific approach are the first facts to develop and improve the reality of education in big universities, and due to the interest and support of scientific researches that the University of Baghdad enjoys, which is rare with other universities, giving it the top rank among Arab universities and universities of the Middle East in this aspect,the University of Baghdad has a distinctive quality of scientific and humanitarian magazines in most of the university colleges and institutes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

    As the nature of scientific and humanitarian researches rise to international levels, this stimulates university to occupy a privileged position among big universities, when a week or a month spends, new issues of the university scientific, various and multi-model specialized magazines are issued. In this month, a new issue of the magazine of “Media Researcher” issued recently of the college of Mass Media, which is one of the most sober scientific magazines in the Middle East and Arab world, because it contains scientific and high-level academic experts. The magazine included a distinct and sophisticated group of media researches, namely: research of “satellite religious discourse” to Assistant Professor ,Dr. Abdulnabi Khazaal, and “the political power of Arab and its role in the technology of the social behavior” to Assistant Professor , Dr. Mahmoud Muhammad Salman, and a research for Assistant Professor , Dr. Abdulbasit Salman entitled “Digital Media in Iraq “, the magazine also included a research ” educational programmes to treat the administrative failure to Dr. Ahmed Mutashar Abdulsahib, and a research of the psychological electronic warfare to Dr. Yusra Khalid Ibrahim, as well as the research entitled “the exposure of employees of the Ministry of Interior of the specialized satellite programmes” to Dr. Hussain Ali Noor, and a participated research between Dr. Fatima Abdulkadhim and Dr. Salim Jassim Muhammad entitled ” the image of the journalist to Iraqi public; furthermore a magazine included a research of “the development of industry of political programmes of Arabic satellite television” to Dr. Safad Al-Samook a distinctive journalist from the presidency of the University in the Department of Public Relations and media . There is also a serious and distinctive scientific research entitled “sources of foreign news in Iraqi newspapers” to Dr. Basim Waheed Johnny.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

    The magazine did not only include researches in this issue, but also showed a scientific book of professor Dr. Hamdan Al-Salim, within the fixed pages of the magazine, where his new book ” Irony and Humour Press in Iraq” was discussed and Dr. Muhammad Redha Mubarak has introduced and criticized the book.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

    The Team of the Website Unit visited the magazine and had a look at the details of the hard work, diligence and perseverance in the college of Media, and met the editor of the magazine, Dr. Hamid Jaad who received us with a warm welcome , and showed us the nature of the work that does not end in the magazine, adding that the magazine is working on a system according to the scientific and academic approach, by virtue of that the magazine is judged and it looks to be the first of its kind in the Middle East, through the nature of the published scientific researches , since researchers often take a regional and global issues in their scientific researches, and come to results of an international and global character, which gives us confidence that we are in the foreground always, God willing.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

    Many scientific institutions wish to publish their researches in our magazine, and there are more researchers from the various universities of Iraq and outside seeking to publish their researches in our judged magazine, and in fact the magazine does not publish in each issue only a limited set of researches which does not exceed 12 , and other researches must be delayed until the next issue, because the magazine is quarterly issued: four issues annually. There is an advisory board and the editorial board of experts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

    The website team also met Dr. Muhammad Redha Mubarak,the editing director of the magazine, who also supervises the Arabic language in the magazine; he noted that the magazine publishes media researches in the fields of journalism , public relations, radio and television, and all the means of mass media, and it deals mostly with scientific elites, who are inside Iraq or outside, so the nature of the published researches represents the elite of the reality of the media in Iraq and the Middle East.<\/p>\n

    The website Team documented the work in the magazine with a group of photographs that reflected the effort and the reality of the magazine, which has received wide attention from the university and the college to provide the best and the latest electronic technology, and provide all the possibilities of furniture, equipment and developed equipments in order to achieve the best and the most important results at the scientific and academic level of Arab and international universities.<\/p>\n

    The team also received, Dr. Alaa Mustafa of the magazine who cared a lot and provided all necessary facilities for this meeting with the Department of the scientific magazine of the college of Media, as well as the team documented most of the issues of the magazine and archive, and looked at the mechanisms and scientific traditions in this magazine which is considered the pride of the Higher Education in Iraq and the Arab world.<\/p>\n

    It is noteworthy that the magazine seeks to develop its reality recently through the deployment of a range of scientific and academic activities at the College in supplements of the magazine; the magazine has initiated to publish some of these activities through the presentation of a book of a professor in the college and the publishing of cultural and scientific activities of the college with the news of Media Commission and Iraqi telecommunications.<\/p>\n
