Workshop on Impact Factor at the center for international studies <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

  The center for strategic and international studies at university of Baghdad held a workshop entitled “Impact Factor and its importance for scientific research and publication in academic journals and for academic promotion” after the obtaining of impact factor by its journal “international studies”. Many instructors at the center participated in this workshop where assistant prof. Dr. Moufid al-Zaidi, an instructor and researcher at the center delivered a lecture on several important axes in this regard and the conditions for obtaining Impact Factor, its purpose and why it is adopted, as well as the conditions and criteria for it impact factor and how to get records in. He also clarified the grounds for refusal of some scientific papers by academic journals relate to the paper presented and how to choose appropriate academic journal for each paper. It is worth mentioned that this center holds such a workshop on impact factor for the second time in order to introduce the researchers to this field and it is hoped that it would organize soon another workshop presenting the practical aspects of how can a journal get an Impact Factor. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
