University of Baghdad witnessed a great festival to support the security forces and the crowd popular in cooperation with the directorate for ideological guidance in popular crowd body with the attendance of the senior deputy minister of higher education, prof. Dr. Qassim Mohammed Dawes and former head of the Shiite endowment, Faraj al-Haidari and a number of sheikhs, notables and clergies, to declare full support in defeating terrorism and the criminal factions (Daash) and two days ago university students supported the victories achieved in liberating the city of Tikrit. President of the university of Baghdad, prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Rasul Abdul Hussein opened the festival and announced that the university stands today with the good Iraqis for defending the Iraqi land and dignity who scarify their blood and wealth for the nation who are the sons of the security forces and the popular crowd. He noted that this blessed crowd had volunteered sincerely in a response to the appeal made by the rational religious reference under the banner of Iraq to refuse any humiliation to the dignity of Mesopotamia by these barbaric bands that are devoid of any meaning of religion or humanity that aim at dismembering Iraq unit and do not differentiate any nationalism, doctrine or ethnicity. Also the university witnessed several initiatives in blood donation in support of our security forces and the wounded. Deputy minister of higher education and scientific research, prof. Dr. Qasem Mohammed Dawes asserted that Iraq faces a vicious crowd that wants to conquer its land, destroy its mosques and churches, slaughter, blur the milestones of the ancient civilizations in Nineveh, blew up the resting places of the prophets, so they do not have any connection to any Islamic state, so their reality became clear as a terrorist state. Dawes stated that this active participation represents a message about people’ unit in all its communities to reject any form of discrimination and hatred to maintain the unity of Iraq, also it represents a qualitative leap in the successive victories of the popular crowd from Amerli to Al-Nasir cliff, Diyala, Samarra, Tikrit towards the liberalization of Mosul soon
