Al-Kindi medicine at the University of Baghdad participates in health research course at the University of Imperial in the United Kingdom

  Al-Kindi College of Medicine in the University of Baghdad has participated in the course organized by the Imperial University in the United Kingdom, London, on training in the field of health research, in order to keep abreast of scientific, academic and medical developments in research and health fields. Dr. Batool Mahdi and Dr. Faris AbdulKarim have represented the college along with a trainee team of twenty people representing a number of the Institutions of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The course has discussed a lot of topics that included the kinds of researches and their academic design , methods of research , evaluation of scientific researches and how to write them, the use of resources and information technology in health researches , teamwork in the research, the division of work, the use of the health system and its mechanisms in scientific research, and offers of researches submitted to the responsible centers. The course has also included a discussion of other topics within a lecture of CME, which is chaired by Dr. Musa al-Moussawi, the Iraqi cultural advisor in the United Kingdom. The course aims to develop the scientific capacity to carry out the researches in the major fields of health, developing the capability and building them, to carry out in-depth researches on certain groups of the population and health issues that have priority in the countries of the world. The participation of the college of Al-Kindi medicine at the University of Baghdad, as the scientific research can contribute increasingly to promote health and development in Iraq. The college of Al-Kindi medicine has adopted private researches and has conducted extensive consultations worldwide , through the adoption of a program for medical training and modernization, to achieve learning through the exchange of experiences and attending seminars and workshops with accredited universities, adhering to global standards, and encouraging researches , and the preparation of promising students and the development of moral and human values, in order to graduate professionals , especially in continuing medical education and researches programs to enhance the student’s ability to self-learning, analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
