College of law discusses prospects of the scientific and legal cooperation with the judicial institute

  Dean of law at the university of Baghdad, prof. Dr. Jamal Ibrahim al-Haidri discussed with the general manager of the judicial institute, chancellor Dr. Kaiser Yahya Jaafar ways of joint scientific cooperation and exchange of legal expertise.

  At the meeting, director of the college website dealt with the mechanism for joint cooperation between the college of law as an academic institution and the judicial institute as a legal academic institution of the supreme council of the judiciary in accordance with the instructions of the cooperation provided by the ministry of higher education and scientific research with other ministries and the bodies not related to a ministry (No. 160/2009). During the meeting a training model proposed by the judicial institute for students through lectures was discussed as a way for openness to the rest of the state institutions.The meeting was attended by assistant professor Dr. Maha Bahjat Yunis, head of public law department, assistant professor Hadi Naim al-Maliki, head of international law department, assistant professor Dr. Haidar Fleih Hassan, head of private law department.

  The college of law of the university of Baghdad seeks to spread legal culture throughout society to ensure the application of laws, regulations and instructions, also to prepare graduates to admit for administrative state jobs and to prepare lawyers who serve their society. One of the priorities of the college is to focus on the scientific sobriety to provide qualified rehabilitation for its graduates. It is worth mentioned that the course of public ethics is taught within the legal studies as part of the administrative law related to the duties and obligations of the employee.
