Computer center at the university of Baghdad receives 724 students for passing computer efficiency exam


Computer center at the university of Baghdad keeps on its computer competency examinations for the students for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of postgraduate study admission. The instructor Hisham Abdul Manaf Atta, director of training and development division at the center stated that seven meeting rooms were fully equipped with two monitors to resolve all the problems that might occur and to smoothly achieve this exam.”The total number of the examinees reached (724) students distributed in a number of university formations such as the faculties of law, agriculture, physical education, the institute of finance and accounting. Those responsible for this process made extraordinary efforts in this regard anf it is worth mentioning that the computer center at the university of Baghdad is one of the world centers for training and examinations that won the authorization of international institutions (such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and Adobe and others) and it is now working on a global examination of more than 2,000 certificates that cover most fields of information technology.The number of teaching sessions at the center increased in number and reached to more than 300 sessions, while the number of the participants exceeded twenty thousand participants according to 2011 census.The computer center is representing the first advisory body of the ministry of higher education and scientific research in all the related computer services that recorded several achievements, as well as signing more than 2,000 global certificates and was ranked as the best examination center in 2010 among 14000 world centers. This breakthrough came after the assessment of ( certiport ) depending on the efficiency of examinations’ implementation and the ability to solve problems and provide all relevant supplies.
