University of Baghdad opens the door to volunteers to defend Iraq and its sanctities and combating terrorist groups
The university of Baghdad opened the door for all graduate students to volunteer in the ranks of the brave Iraqi army and the security forces in support of the national campaign to eliminate terrorist groups and expiatory cliques. The director of public relations and media at the university, Dr. Kazem Umran stated that “university of Baghdad is keen to sustain the mass popular support of the armed forces in their battles against ” Daash “, and the terrorist groups, so it called the students who are full of ardency, magnanimity, courage, fortitude and the desire to defend the homeland to register their names to defend Iraq and greeted their noble families”, stressing on the need to continue this national mobilization to confront the terrorist attack facing our country. For their part, the university students stated that “the coming of outsiders notified us about the plot to tear the unity of Iraq and our contribution in volunteering to defend our country and our holy places is to meet the duty imposed on everyone, and we must show sincerity of belonging to a nation not unprecedented, to repel the fierce barbaric attack and sacrifice our lives for the safety of Iraq and its people in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in all parts of Iraq in this respect”. The department of public relations and media at the presidency of the university of Baghdad has set up a major campaign to invite students, professors and members at the university to blood donation and support our national forces against terror, and the aggressive organizations and criminal gangs that want to sow sedition and ruin our beloved country, stressing on the national unity and brotherhood.
