Computer center at the university of Baghdad holds computer courses for private sector companies


Computer center at the university of Baghdad organized in cooperation with a company named (pulse) a scientific course specialized in defining ( Kaspersky ) program that is used widely in most computers. This session comes as part of supporting the private sector in an attempt to improve the work of such companies to reach the ranks of the international companies. The lecture dealt with this anti-virus software developed by the Russian Kaspersky Lab company for Microsoft, Windows and Macintosh in addition to another version for smartphones. It includes many advantages such as detecting viruses in various files like Trojan Horse, worms and spyware (Key-logger), automatic update and protecting computer when forcing shutdown not caused by the user. The researchers stressed that this software passed all the tests of (Virus Bulletin) magazine winning  the editors’ choice award in 2007 from (PC World) magazine. At the end of the session, certificates of appreciation were distributed to participants, defining the first three places. The participants expressed their gratitude for the computer center  and the lecturers for the valuable scientific information that will contribute in upgrading computer use and addressing the technical problems, calling the center and the company to give other courses for a wider benefit.
