College of administration and economics holds a course entitled ” studies of the economic feasibility “

The advisory office and the unit of continuing education at the college of administration and economics, Baghdad university organized a course entitled ” studies of the economic feasibility ” with the participation of 27 participants from ministries of environment, oil, planning, Sunni endowment, trade and industry. The course included lectures on the economic environment, financial and economic analysis of projects,  criteria of financial and economic evaluation and preparation of investment budget. Professors specializing in administrative and economic sciences at the department of economics gave lectures including Dr. Balasim Jamil and the instructor Salam Neima Muhammad Ali who considered economic feasibility as a process to gather information about the proposed project, then analyzing it to determine the possibility of its implementation, reducing the risk and profitability of the project, knowing the extent of its success or loss compared to the local market and its needs, as well as the ability of companies to survive during a specific time. The importance of the course comes as a process to show that the economic feasibility is one of the most important steps for entrepreneurial success and its success and effectiveness depend on proper planning that is the basic foundation of the financial return. The researchers noted that feasibility is one of the most important branches of such studies to estimate the likelihood of the success of any project or any investment. At the end of the course certificates of appreciation were given to the participants who praised the lecturers and information they gave that achieved a scientific usefulness that will be applied in the practical field to raise the pace of their production and work.
