The faculty of engineering at the university of Baghdad participated in a conference held by the United Nations in Iraq in Erbil to discuss how to benefit from the academic competencies and minds outside Iraq and how to attract them to supplement the Iraqi universities with the scientific expertise so that to develop the graduate studies. The faculties of engineering at the universities of Baghdad, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, Mosul and Basra participated in and the university of Baghdad was represented by prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Neima, head of the department of architecture by giving a lecture in which she reviewed the scientific, educational and research activities of the faculty of engineering. The conference approved some important recommendations to supplement the educational process.
The college of engineering participates in the conference of polarizing and supplying Iraqi universities with the necessary expertise
